Hut and Hound ® - Dog friendly, self-catering holiday accommodation in Cornwall

We provide high quality, very dog-friendly, self-catering holiday accommodation in specially designed Shepherd’s huts so you and your dog (or dogs) can stay together.

What makes us different is that as dog owners and dog lovers we don’t just tolerate guests’ dogs, we actively welcome them and look forward to having them visit. For example we provide exercise areas right outside your door.



We are based in the Cornish countryside close to many beaches, walks and local attractions.
We are a sister company of the very successful  Bed and Basket ®.

Accommodation
We have 2 superb Shepherd's Huts that were designed and built specially for us. They can each sleep 2 people and come with kitchen, ensuite facilities, underfloor heating and log burner. There are just 3 steps into the huts to enable those of limited mobility (people and dogs) easy access.



Welcome Pack
Our welcome pack may vary as we try to include local produce. We always include basics: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs, loaf of bread, 

butter and jam.



Dog friendly facilities
We love dogs and know how important it is for the dogs to be happy so that the people can enjoy their holiday.

So we provide many facilities for dogs to enjoy here, including:

Your own private patio where your dog can be safe – straight out of the hut

A communal field to run around in – with direct access from your patio

Dog washing facilities - Doggie toys - Dog towels

A dog basket – although we recommend you bring something they are familiar with.



Temporary dog guest tags – as recommended to help return lost dogs

More eggs, firewood and charcoal can usually be purchased from us, or from local shops.
